College Success Club: what is it and how will it help me?

At Twizzle, our vision is to transform educational planning so that students and parents can take control of the college application process instead of feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to begin. We’ve been providing useful nuggets of information so far to help you with that planning, explaining what types of extracurriculars you can try out, how you should plan out your Common App essay, and more.

But we now want to add another dimension to what we do, with the rollout of College Success Club (CSC) – our new flagship program. College Success Club is an annual program that will guide students on how to create a school club geared towards college admissions prep. They can bring students together to plan as a group and use collective intelligence to create individual success stories for their college applications. The idea might feel too grand and out of reach at the moment, but we’ll be bringing you monthly installments with week-by-week guides on everything from how to get your group together, what types of projects you should work on, and how you can also use this experience directly for your college application.

Taking the initiative to create such a club with like-minded students to plan together and complement each other’s work in and of itself is a major accomplishment that belongs on the application for any competitive school. But the point of it really is to make the college application process less stressful and burdensome for everyone.

The CSC spirit extends to parents as well. Regardless of who we talk to, all parents want to help their child succeed, but it is often the case that they don’t know where to begin. This program will give parents structure and a way to directly engage with students on a practical level.

We’ve been building customized packages for our clients for almost 20 years, starting from the initial stages of planning to Common App essay revisions, and final choices. There’s a big reason why we share so much of our information publicly. We believe everyone can benefit from more simplicity. We see so many students who are not familiar enough with the college planning process that they don’t even feel comfortable asking questions. Many feel like the biggest, most exclusive schools simply aren’t for them. That’s just not true. Having a good plan will help you gain perspective and provide guidance so you can make the best informed decision when it comes to college.

We believe College Success Club will help you build out that plan. Stay tuned, and get ready to join us on this journey.
