Preparing for college is no simple task. For many, it’s a multi-year process that requires long-term planning and strong performance in various fields. Without good guidance, it can too often feel overwhelming.

We built Twizzle to address these problems – to put simple tools in your hands and useful information right in one place, so you can create your own blueprint and make meaningful progress each day.

Here are some features you will be able to use on Twizzle to make your college application process simple and more streamlined.

  1. Guides & tutorials: We often find that too much information can add to the problem. Instead of walls of text, we’ll be sharing blog posts and videos that are designed for you to read and watch on the go. Also included will be practical tips and guides for you to use. Instead of five paragraphs on how to write an outline, we’ll give you outline samples. We believe in ‘show don’t tell.’ — available

  2. Progress Report: If you’re into color-coded binders and folders, that’s great. But if you’d prefer to keep everything on your device, you can use our Progress Report. It lets you store all your grades and extracurricular activities as you make progress. You can keep track of your estimated GPA and make note of things that you enjoyed to help inform your field of interest. — working on it

  3. Activity Planner: We don’t just help you keep track of what you’ve done. We help you prepare for upcoming events. Based on your field of interest, receive recommendations on upcoming events and competitions. You can sync those that you like to your Twizzle calendar and receive reminders. — work in progress

  4. Essay Journal: Think of this as a personal journal where you can take notes on events or experiences that might come in handy for your college application essays. Often when you’re trying to look back on your accomplishments, you remember only the objective outcome as opposed to how you felt, what you learned, and why that experience was meaningful to you – the important personal elements that will make your essay stand out. — coming soon

  5. Essay evaluations: Everything you do above matters, but remember that being able to put this in words and convey it in the best way possible is what makes or breaks your application. We want you to be able to submit your essays, receive feedback, and make meaningful progress over time. That’s why we’ve included a lot of different options for grading so you can use our services to fit your needs. Check out a sample evaluation here, if you’d like to know what kind of feedback you’ll receive.  — available now
